I grew up in the Ithaca, NY area. I was born to two artistic parents, who helped nurture my love and interest in art. Later my stepfather would also help to do the same as well as my boyfriend, Reed Smith.
Being from such an artistic family it is difficult for me to imagine not making images, although I also have interests
in science, history, language (though I'm not very good at learning new ones), anthropology, environment sustainability, reading, gaming, computers, etc... I think all of these interests influence the subjects I paint, though I constantly revert to a fantasy base for my image making.
In 2009 I graduate from SUNY Fredonia with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Illustration and Animation. I am currently contemplating returning to school to earn a masters, but until that time I am busily persuing a freelance career and improving upon my work.
